Yemisrach Dimts Radio is operated by the Yemisrach Dimts Communication Services, one of the joint Programs of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus involved in Holistic Radio Ministry with nine Ethiopian languages to Ethiopians who live in the country and those in Diasporas.
Yemisrach Dimts Radio Studio
Communication ministry is older than the establishment of EECMY itself in 1959 as a National Church. Yemisrach Dimts Literacy Campaign was launched first, followed by Yemisrach Dimts Radio Studio and Audio – Visual Service with the opening of Radio Voice of the Gospel. The confiscation of Radio Voice of the Gospel and Yemisrach Dimts Radio studio by the former regime halted the work for some years. After ups and downs Yemisrach Dimts was reinstated under the name ‘EECMY – Yemisrach Dimts Communication Services’.
